About sustainable agriculture in Nicaragua

The Sustainable Agriculture Project in Nicaragua is a collaborative initiative with a women cooperative of farmers, “Gloria Quintanilla Coop”, in the region of El Crucero in the southern part of Nicaragua, a community with a strong desire to go back to an ecosystem that was feeding them with organic agricultural products. The “Gloria Quintanilla” coop has been producing organic food while practicing solidarity among its members with the aim to create a decent standard of living. This is a community-based organization who is on the ground responding to the humanitarian crisis.
